چکیده
Abstract Sunflower production plays an important role in global industrial oil production. Two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae , is a dangerous, polyphagous arthropod pest with cosmopolitan distribution, which can endanger the economic features of sunflower It widely known that pests trigger various reactions host plants. Among these, detection ultra-weak photon emission (UPE) enhanced upon infestation novel, non-invasive method suitable for visualisation and monitoring both biotic abiotic stress living tissues. In present study, increase UPE triggered by caused T. Helianthus annuus was measured. response injured plants differed from control plants, reflected difference bioluminescence intensity. leaves attacked onset value average count detected sensor expressed cps (counts per second) one order magnitude higher on as compared to revealed uninjured leaves. Furthermore, infested resulted abrupt decrease intensity when assayed function time. The use this imaging technique has allowed injury induced stressor.

Control of two–spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) by some selected chemicals
The experiment was conducted to study the effectiveness of four commonly used chemicals viz., deltamethrin, cypermethrin, malathion and sulphur against two-spotted spider mite (TSSM), Tetranychus urticae Koch on potted bean plants and on excised leaf discs. Mite population remained significantly lower in all treated plots except malathion treatment. The population of T. urticae differed signifi...

tetranychus urticae koch is an injurious pest of, fruit crops, crop plants as well as ornamental plants worldwide. the high reproductive potential of t. urticae and its fairly short life cycle along with the frequent application of acaricides usually required to maintain t. urticae populations below economic thresholds, facilitates the pest's resistance to acaricides, and consequently cont...
متن کاملRepellent effects of various cherry tomato accessions on the two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae).
Several studies have been conducted on resistance sources to improve the genetic resistance of farm-grown tomatoes to arthropod pests, including phytophagous mites. In the present study, we evaluate the behavior of the two-spotted spider mite on different cherry tomato accessions to identify possible sources of resistance (repellent effect) to this pest. Sixty-four accessions of cherry tomatoes...

Low concentration of raw flower juice of Calotropis porcera (Asclepiadecae) and seed dust of Nerium oleander (Apocynacae) significantly delayed the egg to adult development of two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, for three successive generations under laboratory trial. The flower juice of C. porcera was found more effective than the seed dust of N. oleander in delaying the develop...
